Hello from Haarlem, the Netherlands

After a couple of weeks browsing the forums, it's time to say hello! My name is Sander and i'm 29 years old. I'm from the Netherlands, so i've been cycling from a very early age like anyone around me. Currently I ride a VanMoof no. 3 for commuting. I've also got a fixed gear BLB La Piovra Air limited , which i'm very happy with. Recently i've bought a 1980's Alan bike for the sunny weekends (probably next year ). So, that's about it in short!

Hi, Sanderdev, nice fixed gear ride you have there, you have excellent taste in bicycles. Welcome to BF, enjoy all the different forums here, lots of different types of riding and bicycles to talk about. Its really nice to have someone from Holland here, That country has a special place in my heart. Resistance fighters in WWII hid my uncle from the Nazis for quite a while in their home. Thanks to all the people form the Netherlands.

Bill

Welcome Sander. Haarlem is one of my favorite places. Really like getting out and riding out to the coast then around thru Oosterbroek and Spaarnwoude - brings back good memories!

Thank you for the kind words! Good to be here. Haarlem is indeed an amazing city. As MikeinJax pointed out, you can ride great tours around Haarlem, from the beaches going south to going north and discover the 'polders'.
