Cycling suites my adventurous spirit
Hi guys, I'm 24 and live in orlando. I bought a 1983 Schwinn super le tour last night for $50. I looked over the bike and did some research and found out that it's 99% stock. The only thing that isn't stock are the tires. It's a Little bit crusty but it's all there. I bought the bike to do a cross-country tour this winter. But now that I found out that it is 100% stock I don't think I want to disassemble it and upgraded. I believe it would be blasphemy to the bike gods. I look forward to many threads and posts in the future. As I said before I plan on doing a cross country tour and would greatly appreciate any help and tips you fellas could offer.thanks guys I'm glad to be here

I'm jealous of both your bike and your tour plans. Please go away.
J/K, Congrats... oh and i vote keep it stock, restore, and use it for the tour. That is if it's a supported tour and you don't have to carry much.
EDIT: Pics!!! Where are they?
