Hello from Eif Edwards
Hi folks,
New to the bike forums, so hello.
I am mainly a road cyclist (of sorts) and do quite a few Sportives per year. Notably, the Dragon Ride and Etape Cymru.
Currently riding an Argon 18 Kr with Campag Athena and Fulcrum Quattro Wheels. It gets me round.
Also have a Scott Genius 30 MTB which sadly, spends most of its time in the garage looking a bit forlorn.
I am very keen to build a steel bike from scratch. My number one option is a Colnago Master X from the early 1970s. Any advice on where to start would be gratefully accepted. I have no time scale and don't mind waiting for bargains (if they ever come up).
All the best

Welcome to Bike Forums, Eif!
Rarely are words Colnago and bargain used in the same sentence...
Good luck!
