Hi there! My name is Dave and I enjoy riding my road bike. I'm currently living in San Diego and I'm hoping to meet some cool people down in SD to ride with (I'm originally from Northern California). I have a Bianchi Imola that has been completely revamped and I'm proud to say that I did most of the work myself. I upgraded the shimano tiagra (stock) components to shimano ultegra and upgraded to 10 speed (instead of stock 9). I have custom built wheels with like 36 spokes (can't remember the exact number) to be used for touring. I had the wheels built by A Bicycle Odyssey in Sausalito, CA (highly recommended shop). I was lucky to have been able to commute to work riding my bike last year and am looking to do the same in the future. I am not a die hard cyclist but I do love riding when I'm not surfing, hiking, fishing, exploring, off-roading, etc. I ride solo without any cycling buddies so my goal is to meet some people in San Diego to ride with. I am planning on touring from Oregon/CA border to San Francisco this summer and I'm hoping to meet someone with similar plans so I can have a riding buddy.
