You must have had bias against political idealism or else you wouldn't have found it negative to read about and discuss ideas for making LCF better. Honestly, I don't really understand differentiating between tweaking your bike or personal habits and tweaking the infrastructure you ride on or the areas you bike through. The only difference is that you have to take others into account when seeking to tweak public goods that go beyond your own personal private property. That said, many people are quite comfortable with not taking cycling, transit, and walking into account when tweaking public areas for driving convenience.
