Anyone ever have a hard smashing into by a car while on your bicycle?
Speaking for myself i am going out with a triple cheese burger with extra cheese in my hydration pack. That way i will have a snack to munch on while i am waiting in the processing room at the gates of hell.
Who says you can't take it with you.

A Jack Donkey (IMO) seem to assume that their own lifestyle preferences, priorities and prejudices are essential for incorporating cycling into daily living; and extrapolate these assumptions into approved needs/priorities for everybody else no matter what the others' requirements or situation.
It is noted that the OP did not phrase the question that way. I can only wonder why it was brought up at all. But like music I don't mind talking about my preferences. I don't assume that it has anything to do with cycling.

Pee cola? huh? what?
Re: meat free fake meats being bad for ya. I guess that's a more personal thing, I try to avoid processed foods. Those fake meats, soy ice creams, etc are highly processed with a lot of chemicals and unpronouncable things in them. As far as I can tell, the anti soy movement has indicated that those highly processed, non fermented soy products are the ones that melt your brain.

Just eating veggies isn't going to make this environment clean. Remember that pesticides become airborne (and are used on the vast majority of vegetables produced in the U.S.) In fact, they actually found traces of pesticides that had only been used in California in Lake Michigan.

People do get touchy when it comes to eating meat and using our share of resources, eh?
If anybody wants I can link you up to some cool video of animals being tested on!

Meat in and of itself is not hurting anything at all.
Actually free range beef is natural, nothing wrong with it. It's the hormones and weird food that gets fed to commercial cattle that is bad for a person. Some degree of pesticide use will always be around for crops like corn.

One is the issue of whether or not to eat meat. The other is whether or not to eat organically-produced food.
Some non-vegetarians eat a lot of organic food; some people who eat a lot of non-organicallygrown food are vegetarians. In either of those cases, the people are reducing the environmental degradation caused in producing food for them.
Conventionally grown plantbased foods usually use less resources in terms of water and land than conventional animalbased foods.
For meat/dairy/eggs and for edible plants, buying organic tends to be better if you want to avoid pesticides in your own food and avoid having the producers of your food spread pesticides into other people's land/water/food.

For example:
What is better, buying locally non-organically grown (from a small family famer in PA to make is more of a feel good situation) veggies or organically grown veggies in the southwest US from a multinational agri-giant that uses a non-sustainable water source then shipped to PA on semi trucks?

For me the answer is simple . Buy local. In NY, the current level of regulation on pesticide/herbicide/fungicides is sufficient enough for me. And I have to laugh because the 'Organic' produce that is grown that everyone is so gaga for is grown on the same potato fields that have been obliterated with pesticides and the like for the past 60 years. You don't think that soil has a memory?
And the ultimate? The folks going to buy 'organic' produce and then going back to their 1/2 acre perfectly green weedless lawn where no indigenous plant life remains. So, lets see, the capful of fungicide that is used on a 50 acre farm that is producing food is somehow unacceptable but applying chemicals to your yard for no other reason than 'yard vanity' is fine? And to boot, it is not regulated at all. You can use as much as you want whenever you want.
