What I like about this thread...

.... is the lack of drama associated with car-free. Of course, there's drama when talking about JAMs, oil geopolitics, voodoo economics, but those things are somewhat external to car-free.

Car-free is like walking or breathing. Nothing to get overly upset about. It just happens naturally. And sometimes, like walking or breathing, it is glorious. But most of the time it just is. I like that. We need more of that mentality in the world.

Yeah, carfree is natural to us, but some of my car-hooked co-workers get pretty dramatic about it.
