A question for the Car Light among us

I get 75MPG average with the Prius as compared to 15MPG average with the truck, a 4.5L gallon not the 3.8L gallon... As for the truck, I'm still going to use it about 5% of the time to go camping/fishing/boating... I also take the bike for riding the trails.

Well, it is a step in the right direction. A bigger step would be to have only one vehicle. Any reason the Prius cant take you camping? Also, if you have a power boat, you might think about getting a canoe, kayak, or sailboat.

Yes, I believe it's a step in the right direction too... That's why I mentioned that driving an old vehicle that gets terrible gas mileage "may" not be as small a carbon footprint as some people think, depending on what vehicle you replace it with of course... As for going all the way as some people have done, including my son, using just the bike, that is just too big a step for me.
