I'm pretty sure I can complete this challenge....and have 2 per month later in the summer.
My first couple were unsupported rides:
Jan 3 - 100.2 miles
Feb 6 - 105.3 miles
Mar 22 - 102 miles
Then I rode the Chico Wildflower Century on April 26 for 101+ miles
May 16 brought the Anderson River Park Century for 102 miles
June 6 was the Sierra Century based in Rocklin for 105 miles (1 wrong turn added a few miles)
June 28 was 118 miles on the "the Road to Hana" as part of my vacation on Maui
July 11 I rode all 5 passes of the Death Ride for 127 miles
Planned rides comming up are:
July 18 - Fall River 2x metric (another 130)
August 2 - Mt Shasta Super Century - 135 miles/16k climbing
August 15 - Crater Lake Century for 100/8500' climbing
Sept 13 - Siskiyou Century for 100
Oct 3 - Konocti/Clear Lake Century
Nov - probably do an unsupported ride in Death Valley or local century
Dec - local unsupported century
That should do it.....go luck to all trying!!

I wonder if any outfit ever tried to keep track of Century riders/rides during September, national "century" month.....?
Anyone ever see a stat on known century events and riders?

Only just come across this thread... I haven't done 100 miles in a single day for years, but last Thursday 10 July did 101.5 on my mountain bike, with big fat knobbly tyres on. Followed by 83.6 miles the next day.

My July century was the Livestrong Challenge in San Jose. I did a few extra miles to make sure it went over 100 miles.

Made July with a solo century--broke the 6 hour wall!
First long ride on a road bike--never shifted, never unclipped, no hills, very little wind, just really hot!
I feel like I've done 1,000 push-ups, from riding a couple hours in the drops, otherwise good.

My July century is done. I rode the Seattle Int'l Rando's Whidbey Island 200k last weekend on my single speed. It was a deceptive ride. No long climbs, but all the little ups and downs added up to about 6,200 ft in 126 miles. I'll also be doing RAMROD in a couple of days.

Started out August with a bang (although I'm whimpering now.)
Did the Mountain Mama challenge century in Monterey, VA. 100.1 miles, many serious climbs. I think this is the hardest single day of riding I've ever done, including Mountains of Misery last spring.

August 8th - 102.78 miles. This was the last day of a seven day tour. On that day, I went from Hood River, OR to Portland, OR via Hwy 35, US 26, and the Springwater Corridor. I climbed over 5000' in the first 40 miles, carrying about 20 pounds of gear. Hwy 35 got steeper near the top, approaching 7% for about the last 10 miles. It was a lot of fun though. The total for the tour was 610 miles. Another day was close to 100 miles at 97.62. I could have gone further to get the extra distance, but I was too tired and was at my destination for the day.

August 14
112.6 miles
18.4 mph average speed
6:07:51 moving time
~ 7:10:00 total time
First century on my new Cannondale T2 touring bike. Very surprised this 32 pound bike with 32c tires didn't seem to slow me down one iota from my 24 pound Bianchi Vigorelli with 25c tires (on a flat route). I've even gained 7 pounds the last month from two vacations and very little cycling.

August complete, 8/30.
Noticed that although I have been riding plenty, none of my rides were centuries this month.
The batteries died in my Cateye Strada, so I picked a route that I have done before and know to be 100 miles.
Miles: 103
Total time: 5hr 45min
Rolling time: ?
Avg speed: ?
Weather: perfect- 58/74 degrees.

For August I just managed to squeeze in a 200km ride which i'll count towards my century a month.
This was by the skin of my teeth as I had been sidelined with a collar bone break for 5 weeks just before that.

I missed August. Oddly, I had several 90 mile training rides early in the month, and planned for a fast century. But, knee problem got progressively worse, I backed off, still got worse, MRI on Weds...

September is in the books. Did the Bay Country Century in MD. Beautiful weather, good organization, good turnout, and a new bike to ride it with. Couldn't ask for more.

I've definitely dropped the ball on this one. After a good start of January through March, I lost track of time in April and May and missed those. I'm still keeping it going even though I no longer get the bragging rights.
While touring from Wilmington, NC to Cannon Beach, OR this summer on my loaded mountain bike, I got my June ride in on the last day of the month with a 138-miler(Chanute to Newton, KS). I followed it up with 109 on July 1(Newton to Larned), then 172 on the 2nd(Larned to Tribune). Then had headwinds for a day to Eads, but follwed it up with 115 into Pueblo, CO on the 4th of July. Then there was the 106(ish) to Jackson, MT( I think that was still July) and a 108(?) from Walla Walla, WA to somewhere along the Columbia River. I think it was August by then.
I've failed the Century-A-Month Challenge for this year, but next year...

September complete, 9/20.
Rode the Chuckanut Century, put on by The Mount Baker Bicycle Club, Bellingham, WA.
Rode two different loops of roughly 100km each. Awesome scenery, weather perfect- partly cloudy, highs in the mid 60's.
Rode very strong early on, pulling other riders at 21-23mph sustained, paid for it later on. Last 30 miles of little to no shoulder chipseal made me somewhat miserable, but lived through it, as always.
Miles: 130.04
Rolling time: 7:19
Total time: 7:45
Average speed: 17.7 mph

October complete, 10/3.
Did the Manastash Metric Century starting in Ellensburg, WA.
I did a 100km loop, a 50km loop, and some repeats on a deserted country road, which got my mileage to the "real" century mark.
Weather was very cold to begin with, I'd say in the mid 30's. A headwind and minor climbs warmed up everything except my fingers, but those eventually thawed. I think I was the only rider in shorts and short-sleeved jersey at the start. Weather became partly cloudy with temps in the low 60's.
Miles: 100.54
Rolling time: 5:32:28
Total time: 5:42
Average speed: 18.1 mph
