As I mentioned to Ex as we discussed my season plans, I'm splitting my work days right now, so I can do my workout mid-day, when it gets above 60*, so I can avoid the hassle of arm warmers. I hate bundling up like that. Bad enough when I have to put a beanie under my helmet.

I started to donate to the blood drive we are having at work, but backed out when they refused to agree to put it back in for the stage race in February. What's the point of working for a health care company if you don't get Blood Bag Bennie's, huh?

It was a sporty commute home last night. Arctic headwinds, and pissed off drivers, are a fun combination.

Weather here is whacko. I did today's ride in the low 70s, tomorrow will be the same. A front is coming through tomorrow night, both rain and the temperatures will fall all day Friday, and Saturday's high is predicted to be 37, Sunday about the same. The last two rides of my base block this year will be done in the 30s and wet.

Yeah, it's tropical here compared to inland. Just the reverse of the usual.

I that were my riding weather options I'd stay inside and watch ski racing and football on TV.

Cleave - Right now it's a chance of showers. Plenty of time for that to change...in either direction. If it's a steady rain, I'll probably pull the plug. I've already got five and a half weeks of base, which is five and a half weeks more than I had last year. I might be dumb, but I ain't stoopid.

LOL. Did you actually define arm warmers as bundling up? I wear them pretty much until memorial day.

The gas is out in my neighborhood. It's been out for about 4 hours now. At least it got a little warmer, it was 0 before, now it's 10* out.

Thanks, former-owner who converted my fireplace to gas. Really. I mean it. Thanks.

We don't have NG out in the rural village we live in, our fire place is my favorite place in our home. If I were you I am afraid I would be hunting him down and stripping the skin off his face, very slowly, then I would start to inflict some serious pain for that one. Any word on getting the service back, Valygrl?

AJ, I'm going to leave your reply laying right where I found it!

Bill
