Which USAC cat?

Which USAC cat?
On a special I was able to purchase my 2015 USAC license and race the rest of this year as well. My question though is am I to register as Cat 5 masters 45+ or am I just a Cat 5 as my license states? If it matters this is for CX and I've only raced in one USAC race before, last year on a one day license.

It's up to the race promoter whether you can race 45+ or not, e.g. 45+ 1,2,3,4. In that example, you are excluded until you upgrade to cat 4.
FWIW, you're most likely better off racing in the 5's. As a general rule, Masters racing is damn fast.
