I guess that's where it was. It definitely has been some time. It was in 2010 when they had the Colbert/Jon Stewart rally in D.C., because I took my kids to a bus station in Harrisburg on the way.

Here you got a nice freebie (large bandana with lug shapes printed on it) if you knew to say the line (I'm guessing it is from the sci-fi movie "Them," ) as laid out in their recent email. Thanks, Rivendell!

Loved the loud ring of the copper bell, but, not being a bike-path rider, I don't have an appropriate bike to put one on.

Some nice swag here (self-curling fluorescent orange or yellow pant-cuff bands) from Maxxis, a brand I like. I have great luck with their ReFuse tires on my A bike.

I stopped by for a couple hours. It was the first time I went to the expo since 2015 I think. I left my last job as a mechanic in the fall of 2016, so it was nice to see a bunch of former coworkers and I recognized quite a few former customers. This was definitely a larger turnout than the 2016 event. I got a two-day pass so I may return tomorrow to talk with a few of the shop folks who will be there.
