To upgrade or not to upgrade

5 novice races this year. Not one finish out of the top 5, 3 podium finishes One overall series win in my age group.
No one is forcing me to upgrade, I could just do it at the start of next season. Only planning on 2 maybe 3 races yet this year I could just cruise through them and do what I have been doing all along......

Or

I could upgrade to sport race over my head get my A$$ handed to me and know what I have to work on for next year.

What should I do?

Sounds like you are no longer a novice. Time to upgrade, pal.

Yep, you may very well get your ass kicked. Who doesn't/hasn't?

What was the old saw about always playing with those who are better than you? You learn a lot more and get sparked to achieve higher goals.

Nobody said it would be easy, did they?

Just my 0.02

My normal training partner is a Vet expert. It could be on MTB, it could be on the road , I am used to getting beat down 4 or 5 times a week.
