Bikes: 04' Specialized Roubaix, 05' Specialized Stumpjumper, 96' GT Saddleback (eventual single-speed)

SRAM vs. Shimano ?

I've been hearing that SRAM components give more bang for the buck compared to Shimano stuff. What SRAM components would be comparable to XT or XTR Shimano? Anyone here agree that SRAM may be the better deal?

Bikes: Specialized AWOL, Soma Juice

x.9 and x.0 are comparable to xt and xtr. But I think most people would just tell you to get the x.7's because they are quite comparable and at a significant savings.
