front fork lube

I have a suntour ncx front fork on my specialized crosstrail comp.
I've done some research on routine PM and it seems all I need to do between semi annual vists to the lbs is keep the tubes and dust seals clean and lubed. As always there are numerous products dedicated to this specific application. I usually don't buy into the hype that one needs a different lube for every different part of the bike, but the tubes contain an oil so I wonder if it's best to use a shock lube or will any decent lube work just as well for this purpose?

Silicon spray will do the job.

Be aware that the forks you have are really disposable, as the cost of servicing is normally more than that of just replacing with a new set.
