Manitou Answer Pro fork identificiation
Looking to put this fork on a 1994 Schwinn to replace a Tange Struts GS with rotted elastomers.
The pads in the Manitou are still in okay shape. I lubed up the legs so it would move again. the one side top cap was broken so I glued that back together. IMO, this is not a good design. The caps look like adjusters but they aren't. Someone turned them out a bit and I think that caused the cap to break. I don't know how long the glue job will hold.
Anyhow, what model/year is the Manitou? There are so many. Here are some photos:
