Bad rear shock?
I have a 2009 kona dawgma and the rear shock is extremely stiff. I weigh 215 pounds and I cannot get it to move at all unless I lower the pressure below 100. Does this seem right? FYI I have never owned a mountain bike before, judging by what I have read I believe the proper pressure should be closer to 165psi. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

The things you notice when you have a bad air shock is either your shock rebounds too fast or it bottoms out easily. So either your shock doesn't have any lubricant in the stanctions (buy a bike stanction lubricant)or that your air chamber is screwed up(get a rebuild kit or get a new shock). If you have suspension settings like rebound and compression, turn them down. If your shock has a lockout system, turn it off. I hope this helped you.
