Winter hasn't come this year, still riding in shorts...
These are taken at Ourimbah (90 mins north of Sydney) which has a few nice XC loops and a couple of DH runs right through the middle of it all. You can go XC or DH and change it up at various intersections of each run.

From: Between the mountains and the lake.
Bikes: 8 bikes - one for each day of the week!
Nice photos - looks like the Mad Scot, and a headless Climbo. I added some new ones to my Aussie BMX thread. Did I mention a pilot friend is getting me a proper map for Glenrock?

roadies?
rocks, come down and ride the DH run, plenty there for you.
map sounds good Expat, we were talking today about having another go up there. We also talked to a couple of guys about Killingworth, said it was worth a trip.

Ourimbah DH track is very very nice, I want to ride there one day, the vids of it look sweet. Also it looks very rocky.

Great pics but I do have to say it looks very tame. Those are the first pics I have seen from Ausssie Land that look like beginner trails
Usually the riders are falling off of cliffs and such

I have the 04 Aussie DH Nats race from Ourimbah, but I can't host it, it is 28mb, someone PM me with a site than can host it with a largeish bandwidth. I just watched it again...... It is sweet.

good video but there are some much rockier, gnarlier sections not on there. Near the top of the run, the first big drop off has a nice BIG rock drop off in to more rocks, steep too and has a "sissy line" around it on the right hand side. Not sure if all DH'ers go off the big section or only some. I plan to go watch it one weekend coming up.
