fork: from coil to air

I have found two video on youtube of some guys talking about converting a suntour fork from coil to air.
Since i can't understand a single word they said can someone give me more info? is really a thing this sort of conversions?

I didn't watch the video. But, from what experience I've had, working on things mechanical (not necessarily forks) is that trying to convert to something other than the original purpose or design, doesn't usually turn out all that great. If you have a Suntour coil fork and would rather have air, check Suntour's upgrade policy to see if you might qualify.

i was thinking the same , better ask directly to suntour. tnx
