My forks seem to be fading. They are 04 exR pro's. What type of maintanance is required to keep them fresh?

They just dont seem the same as they were.

First off, forks are not meant to be bled.

Clean the seals, change the oil.

No,no,no you want air in your fork. If you completely fill it with oil and leave no room for air, then congrats... youre fork will not compress.

Forks are not bled. You can bleed Hydraulic brakes, some dampers, and camelbacks(at least I do so that water isnt always splashing around).

Shows how much I know about Exr's. I only used Z1's when I ran marzocchi's.

If your fork is really not in the best shape from normal wear, you could always look into a rebuild...
Change the seals, i recommend Enduro Fork seals.
