Velocity A23 vs Dyad for Dt Swiss XR 400 replacement
I purchased a 26-inch wheelset with 28 spokes for my bicycle back in 2009. The rims on that wheelset were the Dt Swiss 4.2d. Unfortunately, two years later, I had an accident that necessitated a replacement for one of the rims. Regrettably, the 4.2D rims had been discontinued at that point, so I ended up purchasing a DT Swiss XR 400 rim as a substitute.
Now, I find myself in a similar situation, needing to replace the rim once more. However, it seems that the DT Swiss XR 400 is also no longer available. I'm curious to know if you can recommend the closest alternative rim. I've been considering the Velocity A23 rims, as they share the same inner width of 18mm and have a similar weight at 415 grams. But Dyad rims are also available. What are your thoughts on this choice? I dont do rough mtb riding. I mostly ride my bike in the city.

Velocity would be an excellent choice what happened to your rim that is necessitating replacement?
I would probably personally go Dyad but the A23s are a fine road rim and I have a set I am looking at right now (well the front well the rest is obscured by another bike) but it is on an old road bike not a MTB
