i'm looking for a pretty decent fork, nothing 400 dollars or anything, that can take maybe 1-4 feet drops (like off a picnic table in a park).
am i okay if i went for something like a marzocchi dj 3?
thanks in advanced.

Jeez go look at jenson. z1fr3 and all mountain 3 are better forks for around that price. The dj3 is very heavy. Damping would all be equal more or less, but weight is the diff.

Call Marzocchi and ask about 04 forks. I just got a brand new 2004 dj3 with 130mm of travel and super t lowers (20 mm through axle) for only $160. It was a custom build that Marzocchi did. There are about 64 left. That would also be good.

i don't know anything about forks, but since you're the admin you're probably really knowledgable, thus i think i'll go with what you said.

I have a DJ3 on my bike and its awsome for what you want to do. Itll actually do more like DirtJumpP1 said. Ive done a 7 foot drop on mine. They are really strong and inexspenive. They are also very easy to adjust. Ill sell you mine
