GT Avalanche anygood?

Hey everyone, I was just wondering if my bike will hold up, I am starting to get more amd more into riding everyday, I just got a GT Avalanche 3.0 with disc brakes and need to know if this bike is decent for riding. And does anyone else have this model ? and how do they like it? Thanks Colby

My friend has that bike. Its not a great bike, but probably worth the money. What type of riding are you deciding to do with it?

I own a 1993 GT Aggressor, very similar to the Avalanche and I still ride some trails with it.

Although I can't vouch for the current GT's, I've been riding a 2001 Avalanche 2.0 (pre-bankrupt)
for four years now. I've done quite a few upgrades over that time period but the frame is still
going strong and I've used it pretty roughly.

Yeah I just use it for easy trailriding for now and jump it here and there but nothing very high.
