Heeeeellllllp me please!!!

My mental stability is at stake. I cannot for the life of me find out what kind of mountain bike I have purchased, that was why I got it in the first place. It looked "neat". So here goes a description of it It is a polished aluminum hardtail frame, no stickers. The top tube if you are looking at it from the chainring side is kinda cut out and machined for the cable routing. Th e down tube is an oval shape with a 1/4" or so "flat spot" on the top and bottom of the tube. It also has Removable rear dropouts, not just a removeable derailleur hanger, but removeable rear dropouts on both sides. The serial # starts with a C then has six digits after it, then four more digits below the six. thats as good a description that i can give without the bike in front of me. My friend has it and is trying to figure what kind of bike it is too. Im gonna take a few pics of it and when I figure out how to post them I will do so.

Why would you be so worried about what the bike is, especially since you already bought it? How did you know if the price was reasonable if you didn't know what it was. And is it a bike or just a frame?

Anyway, chances are it's not going to be identified without any pictures.

I wouldnt so much say "worried" about it. I am more aggravated at the fact that I cant find ANYTHING about it. Why did I buy it? because I have this real bad habit of buying thing just because I dont know what it is , does, fits, or what it is for. mostly yard sales, swap meets and stuff like that. I figure someday I'll find out what these things do, fit or fix.............AND i'll be able to say "I've got one of those" it kinda falls under the "he who dies with the most toys" category!!!! Fun weekend stuff.undefined
