Hey Raiyn, you up for doing any riding soon?

I may take off early tomorrow (Weds.) and head up to Alafia. You interested?

4 foot drops would definitely call for a FS. There is just no way you could do something crazy like that on an outdated hardtail.

On an outdated ht...yes...but on new ones that are built for it 4 ft are nothing on a ht as you well know from that vid

From what I know and people I talk ot, most start out as trail riders and XC racers, and move to freeriding. It is an essental part because u need the skills and endurance ext. I prefer to not think of it as a competition, because biking is biking. No one has a definate definition of freeride yet, but freeriding can be done on an XC trail, so the XC riders could be considered freeriders if they hit the extreme trails. Instead of saying XC is losing to freeriding, what about, XC is progressing???
