Well I want to buy the trek 6500 disk, but I really hate the blue color to be honest. I want the deore hydraulic disk brakes that come on the 6500 disk but I want the color of the dutone 6500 non disk. Is it possible when I go to my lbs, can they have trek use a non disk duotone frame for a 6500 disk package? I doubt they can, but does anyone know if they would?

I -think- you can order the frame with the package thingy you want, but just tell them to exchange the brake dealy when they order the part.

Bikes: Trek 4300

Sweet bikes.

I asked my LBS to do the same thing for me but they were going to charge me labor to swap everything over from one to the other. I said forget it.

Good luck getting it done, I like that red/yellow frame better too.

Ok, I hope it works out I hate how they have cool colors for the ****tier models then when u get to the 6500 or higher they only have one color option.
