Trek 4900

That's it, tomorrow I am ordering the Trek 4900 2003 model (In Malta this costs around $1200 US Dollars)

I was going to get the Kona NuNu at first but its very restrictive warranty put me off. I was also interested in the GF Tassajjara but the 2003 colour schemes are not for me.

Any of you guys have experience with Trek 4900 or similar models?

Am I wrong in placing a lot of importance on warranty? At first I was off aluminium frames because of their fatigue limit, but I would go for it if covered by a lifetime warranty.

All feedback is greatly appreciated.

Bikes: Lots

Wow, $1,200! That's about twice as what it cost stateside!!!!!

Warranty is always an important issue. The 4900 is a nice bike and I'm sure you'll enjoy it!

Good Luck
