nope. the frame was "racked" and bent. The hanger couldnt bend anymore so instead of break it bent the frame around with it.

Please PM me and lemme know what you think of that frame once you've had a chance to ride it. I was this close to buying one off eBay a little while ago.

Guillermo, I have talked to a whole team from Austin who rides these and they have nothing but good reviews. I'm expecting the same and will be more that happy to update once I get her built u and race her a few times. I've got 3 regular races 1 12 hour and 1 24 hour in the next 2 months too put her though the paces. I'll try to remember to stop buy. 853 steel the real deal. BTW if it was in the last couple of weeks off of ebay it was probably me with whom you were bidding against. I decided I wanted it and went all out the seller really got a good deal too

RacerX
My shop looked into for me and it seems like a really good deal. I can actually get a 2003 for something like $400 to $500 msrp or just the frame for $400 or an Sworks for $600. I think I might take them up on that at a later date to use as a back up just because I totally expect to love the Jamis and never go back to aluminum.

I was JRA (just riding along) when all of a sudden I started stopping rapidly. The only think i can think is that a link in the chain broke got caught up in the derailleur and the force of the pedal stroke forced the derailleur into the spokes and the rest you know
