Well the best thing I can say is do a www. search on them. There is plenty of info on Stamstad at the Airborne web site. Tomac, Herbold, and Lopes should be easy to do it would get very long in explanation here.

Hunter...

Aren't you being a bit Biased towards American Bikers???

I'd say yes to both Tomac and Overend...but what about Thomas Frishnect, or Miguel Martinez, or Cadel Evans, or Steve Peat....???

We're in a Global Community my man!!!!

Actually Rich no I am not! I never thought of Thomas. It is purely a opinion poll. I am sorry if this offends it was not intended to. Also considering the diversity of the above riders IMHO I would say they have an edge. You are correct I should have considered Thomas.

Perhaps king of the potholes!

Bikes: Lots

I'm going to say, "I'm the King of crashing", but my overall vote is Tomac, he ruled road, xc, downhill, slalom, don't forget BMX and he sometimes did 2 or 3 disciplines in the same day. Road race in the morning, a small snack, perhaps a XC race, then lunch, and then Downhill in the afternoon. He ruled, he was always smiling and was and is a great representative of our sport.

Later Gator

Peat is nowhere near Tomac or Overend ...... Peaty is veeeeery new to the scene in comparison with stuff of legends plus he is highly overrated here in the UK. I would also suggest Nicolas Vouilloz Best DHer of all time.

Okay, somebody start a two-year old thread about the Queen... and make sure there're choices for Chausson and FURTADO...oops, did I capitalize that?

Well especially concerning a thread like this where so many new people have arrived on the scene, if you like this thread rebuild it with more options. 2 years changes a lot of opinions and perceptions. It would be like opening a 2 year old newspaper to get recent news.

But whatever.

BTW on a side note. I agree with you. Overall I would have to say hans is at the very least one of the top two or three 'overall' riders ever. Amazing rider.
