Except for the last three, they're quite a distance away.

LowCel 12-27-05 11:56 AM

mx 599 - Try out www.photobucket.com , it's free and allows quite a few pictures. It does automatically resize pictures over 512 kb though. It allows 50 Mb of pictures and 2,500 Mb of monthly bandwidth.

Yikes.. Is KrisA or anybody else from regina around? This looks the exact same as the sound end of the parking lot at Wascana Trails!!

kind of...

LowCel 12-28-05 11:31 AM

That picture was from the normal season Big Bear race at Bruceton Mills, WV. The last picture that I posted was from the same course (different spot) a few months later at 24 hours of Big Bear. Believe it or not I did not recognize one part of the course even though I had raced it a few months earlier. I hated the course in the snow but I loved it once it dried out. There were just too many hidden jagged rocks.

Yeah, K-country is great. Some of the trails are only a 40 min drive from my house. And there are numerous good trails in the area. Typical riding season is May to October but you can winter ride some of them.

Did a hike around one of them this week and I'm glad I didn't bike, with the warm weather and overnight freezing, the trail was covered with very slippery and very lumpy ice in parts.

Winter riding is fun. These help quite a bit as it make riding on ice almost like riding on dry single track when going slow. Flying down single track & trying to stop on ice.... not so much. :D

Winter riding is great but the trails didn't look like your last picture. There was hardly any snow and the ice was clear and not smooth (from the repeated thawing and freezing)...and it was basically only on the trail path. Studs would help but the ride still would have been slow and bumpy. It's much more fun when it's like your last picture!

Well, you live in Whistler, that's some crazy stuff up there. 200 km of ridable dirt trials, jumps, boxs, wall rides. All that kind of stuff.

Try this website. There is no limit, but you can't store anything. Just use the Forum codes.
