Here's a link to a slideshow of one of the trails I enjoy - Owl's Roost. Distance from my house - about 2 miles.

Just part of my favorite trail system. The section in the picture is harder than it looks. The part that was right behind me when I took the picture is literally has a near 90 degree turn threaded through a 18" gap between a couple of trees. Just one of the many mind conundrums that round valley offers, another one is the railroad tie bed(Not pictured), and after the clearing the 8 miles of singletrack in which the trail surface is all large and medium sized loose rocks and roots and all uphill one way and all downhill heading back. Will see if I have a pic of that section.

A couple shots of a place that's about 1.5 mi from my house. The shots of these areas aren't the most technical, but the "more technical" areas arent much either. It's mostly fallen trees and tight turns. It's about a 3.5mi singletrack loop mixed with other segments of singletrack. Images are kinda blurry tho. The images that "never" has are similar to what this place is like.

Is rockville good riding? I live near Sac, and i've heard a lot about it over at MTBR. I lived in fairfield until I was like 2, :)

I guess I may as well post this...it's the trail that is right near my house, less than a 30 second ride. It's a fun little trail pretty much all year long.

It was fun to watch your dog grow progressively more tired.

Haha, well he was still ready to go. After we did the one loop, I put the camera away and we did a few high speed loops (a lot more fun than constantly stopping and taking pictures).
