I have never herd this one before but thought is funny[/url]

yard sale n. (from skiing) a horrendous crash that leaves all your various "wares" -- water bottles, pump, tool bag, etc. -- scattered as if on display for sale.

A lot of slang comes from bmx or winter sports. Like freeriding. Almost a direct steel from skiing.

without a doubt, my favorite is "bolt-on", the MTBer slang for breast implants...think about it...you bolt on new deraillers to make your bike better, women bolt-on new boobs to make thier boobs better

ITS PERFECT!

I like this one:

'rhoid buffing v. going down a hill so steep that your butt touches the rear wheel.

Ooooohhhh Feel the burn!

Ouch..never heard it used in that context before. Usually only with violence. But man that would suck. Luckily never had t happen to myself

Here's two of my favorites (in honor of our beloved friend - see "the Enemy" thread):

auger v. to involuntarily take samples of the local geology, usually with one's face, during a crash.

bring home a Christmas tree v. to ride (or crash) through dense bushes, so leaves and branches are hanging from your bike and helmet.
