Beagy
p.s. please don't tell her, but I'm busy building a new bike, an Orange P7 to replace my ageing Orange Evo O2 hardtail. I have a strong feeling that it may become, "The New Best Thing"

By far my favorite would be a '90s Merlin. To me, nothing looks better. Something like this, except I'd probably have a few different components:

Okay, that Nicolai is insane. It's for crazy people. Crazy people with fangs and eyes beams and acid blood.
That morphine is sick looking. Is there a good reason to have that Fox 40 on there or is it just a hardtail built around it for novelty? I mean, is it a jumper or a DH or what? Whatever it is it's crazy looking.
Okay, so here's my SECRET favorite bike:
I once saw a picture of a group of guys going down this gnarly descent, all riding 6" freeride bikes. Then up at the front there's Steave Peat and he's riding an Orange Ms Isle. I was like "I want to do that!" To this day, I think of that picture and remind myself about how I want to expand my bike handling skills (im all XC here) and learn how to manual, and drop, and jump.
And when I DO learn how to do all that stuff, I'm going to get myself a Ms Isle and go smash up mail boxes and picnic tables with it!

It's a Nicolai. It's German. It's der technik.
Oh, man, it's going to be like urban trail erosion. They're going to have to get volunteers to pick up all the chunks of stucco and hamer all the handrails back into shape.
