I'm a first time bike buyer looking to get into mountain biking a little. I found a great deal on a 2000 trek 6000. It looks like it has been taken care of pretty well. Would there be a problem with the age on this bike as all the components are original. Also, what would be a good price for this bike?

It all depends on how the bike has been ridden. One person can wear out a component group in a matter of months. Another person will still have like new components five years later.
