i thought this was pretty sick, a green thomson seatpost. but i dont know if it is real or not? it says thomson on it but i dont see elite.

it's probably real..but who cares? rare is right because they claim they don't do anything other than silver and black. i am sure they can anodize to any color for fun though.

Bikes: IRO Mark V pro (RIP), Bianchi Giro, Giant Xtc1, Redline Conquest Pro, Kelly Deluxe singlespeed.

The clamp looks thomson-esque. To the best of my knowledge there is not another company that has copied that design.

Yes, it is a genuine Thomson.

I remember a few years ago they made a limited run of them in "Kelly Green" for the Kelly bikes company. They were available through the big wholesaler that does Kelly.

Size is probably only for a Kelly.

if my bike could take that size i would get it. it doesnt go with my bike at all, but i would be the only one with a green thomson seatpost

someone said this size is odd...well,, I was just checking Thomson website and they do make this size, I have bought parts from bikewagon before and they come in fine...so I think its real, based on the clamp, its real as well...what Thomson offical website don't have it this post in green!
