Bad Bike Experiances?

Today, I was going to go to the mountian closest to where I live. It's a great mountain. (Ledge View) But my chain broke as I was going there. Phoned my mom to pick me up, and my friends went to meet me at the mountain. I went to the shop, and they got it fixed. Then I bought some Propel to fill up my Camelbak with. And on the way to Ledgeveiw, one of my friends phones me.
Friend:"We arn't going up anymore."
Me:"How Come?"
Friend:"We don't want to."

So what else has happened to people? Such as injures, friends, stuff like that.

Today I was freeriding with some friends. I was trying to clear a rock to rock jump, but when I made it to the ramp the lip gave way. So I dodn't get the lift I needed and my back tire hit the rock. This caused my to fly about 10 ft before I hit the ground. I heard it looked awesome though.....
