exp. at bike shops
i would really like to get a job soon. but i cant work at a shop. this would be my first job besides working at a place that opens up for the summer crowd that comes to the jersey shore. and i would really like to work around/with bikes. i am thinking of going down to my lbs and seeing if they would be willing to let me hang around in their shop in the summer. ya know kind of like an aprentice thing. and mybe after i learn all that i need i might be able to score a job there.
does anyone know any shops that do anything like this? and if so, is it a good idea?

I might be getting the same kind of thing. Except I know the bike shop owner. So I will hopefully get a job for sure.

Worked at one last summer, and i'm working there this summer.
Perks are great, get paid to learn, do what I love, can work on my bike for free, get to demo bikes and take em to the ski hills.
