Spring Forum Ride, It was ON!!!

I just got in from 3 days of awsome riding. The weekend went down with great riders, killer bikes, incredible trails and one heck of a great time. The crew was Mtnbiker66,Girlscout 13,Hambone40,Gastro,Highrevs,WheelieMert,and the last of the dog men. 7 riders from good to killer in their riding abilities. We rode trails in Pisgah and Dupont,I don't know how many miles and I really don't care.We had no medical or mechanical issues which was good.
Friday was spent riding Daniel ridge and Caney Bottom, It was some of the guys first time in Pisgah and they were all smiles and grins.Saterday was spent in Dupont riding some awsome trails and Sunday was spent on Black(pin it) Mtn. Weather was great, mostly sunny and about 65 to 70f. For those who didn't come, you freakin' missed it! A freeride session went down on Sat night with some awsome riding. Highrevs will post pics of that later. I can tell you all that Gastro, Highrevs and their crew are some killer riders. I'll post a few pics now and more to come. I cant wait to see what highrevs has on his camera..
This beat last falls ride and thats saying a lot.

Camp on the Davidson River in Pisgah.

The bikes used on this trip.Check out the custom painted Banshee.

The cast, '66,Gastro,Highrevs,Brian,Girlscout,Hambone, Merit.

Merit, Brian and Girlscout13 at Dupont.

Another Dupont Pic.

Merit Pinnin' it on Black Mtn. ReCycles owner and all around super guy.

Girlscout on Black Mtn. He just about dropped me on the decent.I was hanging on for dear life.

At the end,a beat and happy crew. The best weekend with the best guys.

Word! Looks great! It's been raining most of the weekend here. Things are getting sorted out, tho. Hopefully I'll be back out there sooner rather than later.

It was all good. Don't take that wrong, a lot of it had to do with highrevs Photo thread that got derailed.

Nicely shot. The man responsible for that bit of trail will be working the week of my next visit that direction, but is planning on a morning ride or two in any case.

edit: looks like you weren't all armoured up like me, weenie that i am.

Bikes: a few...

Oh MY Dang, It was on!!!! The riding was awesome, the people were awesome, the terrain was beautiful and the weather was great... I am so tired today I can barely think.

I snagged the point’n’shoot camera from the office. Unfortunately, I took it out of my pack about three times the whole weekend. My focus was on riding more so than photos.

The top of one of the trails at Dupont

Posers in the parking lot at Dupont

Girlscout ripping at pin it mountain

I have not upload my pictures from the SLR yet, so the will be more to come.

Thanks again to Mtnbiker66,Girlscout 13 and Hambone40! You guys helped make this one of the best trips of my life.

Shooting credit goes to Kevin. I didn't take a single trail picture on the whole trip.

No armor because I don't air out his bigger ledges like some folks. Day 2 with him got nixed by his stomach flu so we were forced to hit Amasa-Pothole Arch-Rockstacker-Jacksons.

I now return folks to their regularly schedule NC loveliness...
