WOW are egg beater pedals are great but......
I pick up a pair egg beaters on the weekend to try out. I've been holding back because I love my Time's. I should of bought them years ago. Talk about great pedals. To bad my cleats are shows some wear already I guess I need to order the better cleats. Did anyone else have this problem?

they are designed to wear somewhat quickly. They are made of softer metal so that you will never damage the pedal body. They might be showing signs of wear but they should be in fine working shape for quite some time. I go through about 2 pairs of cleats a year riding MTB 2-3 days a week. I usually end up putting one pair on after the winter and switch up late summer early fall.

Yeah, you would be surprised how worn these cleats can be, and still hold reliably.
I use my eggbeater cleats on my work shoes....yep, daily wear, full time....they hold up just fine.
And all eggbeater cleats wear this fast...they are brass cleats, opposed to the steel used for other cleats.

Nope, to me the basic cleat lasts long enough. I get about 3mos + per pair...and that's wearing them conostantly....actually, as I sit here at my desk, on the workfloor...I'm wearing them right now.
