Catwalks
I have just started working on my catwalks. The most full rotations I have gotten with the pedals are 5-6 times around. Sometimes I can do them, other times I can't. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do catwalks well and repeatedly?

i think it is "riding a wheelie"
in connecticut, where i grew up, we called it riding a wheelie.

If a catwalk is a wheelie:
I find the most important thing is to pull the bars up really high on the first rotation, and just keep em there.

so he did this instead, and now we're informed in the different dialects of MOUNTAIN BIKEANESE

Yeah I sometimes call them a cat-walk, or manuals. But it just takes practice.

Bikes: a bunch.
wheelie - sitting down, pedalling to control balance
catwalk - standing up, pedalling to control balance
manual - standing up, humping to control balance
seated manual - sitting, using brake to control balance... can also be done with legs hanging off bike for balance.
To offer advice.. work on manualling.
Catwalking is played.
Manualling looks much cooler=D
