Newbie front suspension question

I have a Giant Rincon and was wondering how to tell what size of front fork that I have, and what I can upgrade to.

It will be a 1 1/8" threadless fork. Keep the travel of the new fork no more than 20mm more than the stock fork. That is the general rule of thumb. You can upgrade to pretty much anything with a standard drop-out and for a 26" wheel.
