Sounds like we're gonna have a bigger posse than last time I was out there. Should be a blast!

When you guys get an Idea when you'll be getting here on Fri the 20th let me know so I can plan to meet you. Gastro and his crew know where to go. I would like to get a decent ride in on fri afternoon.

Ill be leaving Cleveland early, about 5am. That puts me there around 2 or 3pm.
So that works well, never getting in early, me getting in middle, and curtis getting in late....not!

Well, I'm trying to decide when to leave, which, of course, will have some bearing on when I arrive. I get off work at 0630 on Friday. I was gonna sleep for a few hours and then head out, arriving Friday evening or even early Saturday morning, depending on my tiredness, but now I'm not sure what to do. Don't really want to miss the ride Friday, but I don't want to fall asleep at the wheel, either....

Less than 2 weeks to go. I just got back from a few days of fishing and riding around Charleston SC and the leaves are starting to change so the should be in full color about the time we camp.Flak do I need to get you a tent? If anyone else has any needs let me know ASAP. I'm gonna go try to snag the prime camp spot on Sunday evening so we'll have it the next weekend.

Did anyone post directions to the campsite earlier? I may try to take the whole day off on Friday and get in before dark if I can. Since it's probably a weird place to find, if someone could post the quadrant and page number of it from a Gazeteer that might come in handy since it's super detailed.
Just got back from paddling in the Russell Fork Gorge between VA and KY. The leaves are about 30-40% turned up there. It was a very nice weekend to be outside.

I think i have a tent lined up, as well as everything else, thanks for the offer though.
My wife mentioned the ground may not be the most comfortable to sleep on so i should try and get my hands on one of those padded things you put under your sleeping bag, or an air matress or something. I wasn't planning on anything like that, but the more i think about it, the better it sounds. If you have a spare, that'd be great, otherwise ill see if i know anyone up here that has one, or i might just go and buy the rolled up padding or something.
