bash guards?

How many of you use bash guards while mountain biking, I do mostly just XC but was thinking about getting one to save my chainring until I manage to teach myself how to not keep smashing them on rocks and logs.

I had some alloy kind on my Bruiser. I like that the guards wont give grease on your legs and won;t get caught with jeans unlike a chainring.

I have a race face like the one you have pictured. I went with a 34T guard over a 32T ring and it works perfectly over logs and rocks i cant clear cleanly.
