new to dirt jumping

Hi, I have been riding bmx bikes for about 3 years and I am thinking about getting a dirt jump/urban mountain bike. I was looking at this one:
I do not know if this is a good bike or not, soo can I have some reviews or suggestions on this?

thanks

Bikes: Guerciotti Pista-Giant Carbon-Bridgestone300- Batavus Type Champion Road Bike, Specialized Hardrock Commuter, On-One The Gimp (SS Rigid MTB/hit by a truck)- Raleigh Sports 3-speed,Gatsby Scorcher, comming soon...The Penny Farthing Highwheel!

Have heard nothing but good things about the Ruckus, but haven't seen it in person.

Only big box DJ bike I've tried was the Haro Zero-One (now the Thread-One), and it was dope.

For this game you're better off building up from frame. Check out Black Market Mob or On-One Gimp.

I got the Gimp, it's indestructable.

Bikes: Trek Jack...trials bike soon.

Yeah, that GT would be a great bike to start on. Steel frame and single speed is where it's at for DJ/urban.

Keep in mind, you'll need new tires if you want to take the Ruckus to dirt. The setup is strictly street.

Look at some Brodies and Kona bikes. Better compents for the money.

Bikes: 05 Brodie Diablo - 06 Norco 416

Ive seen the GT in person, the fork is crap and the brakes arent too great, but other than that, its fairly nice.

If he goes with a transition a Trail or Park would be better.

Just a wee bit out of the price range though.
