My new Rush!!

My '06 Cannondale Rush.

Went for its first ride in the mud yesterday. I have only a handful of rides in so far and this thing is perfect. There isn't much more I could ask for for $1600.

Very nice, congrats! Hope you enjoy it.

Oh yeah, a little late but welcome to bike forums!

I love those! When I go to a full suspension, that's probably what I'll get.

Great bike. 600 I assume? I have been loving the Rush 800 I just got as well...we don't need no stinkin other half of the fork. :D

Nice bike. Ive always wondered about thoseforks, how do they work when they put so much force on one side of the axle/hub or something. Wouldnt it tilt the wheel a bit to its left?

same as a car wheel. they have a conical shaped axle with the big end on the fork side.

Ah I see.
A few weeks ago I saw a woman riding an all red bike that looked an awful lot like this, with the same suspension and fork design. I bet it was. Cool:D

Lovely bike :)

Why Budweiser, why Budweiser?

Nice bike.

That's not the 600, the 600 has a manitou R7 on it.

Incorrect...

http://www.cannondale.com/bikes/06/CUSA/model-6VM6.html

you're thinking of the 400 (on the website it says the 400 comes with the RockShox Recon 327 Solo Air, but on my catalogue, it says it comes with teh r7)

Dannihilator 08-11-06 09:32 PM

Here I'm trying to guess it by color.

Nice frame. That fork still still makes me wonder.

that "fork" is awesome. super plush..........you forget about the lefty thing when you are comcentrating on your line.....as do the bumps, ruts, roots and other obstacles.:)

Serendipper 08-12-06 06:07 AM

The Lefty rides like butter. It seems to have more steering input that other big, squishy forks.

A Rush/Prophet/Scalpel is on my wish list as well. Don't forget me Santa!!!:D
