My new Rush!!

My '06 Cannondale Rush.

Went for its first ride in the mud yesterday. I have only a handful of rides in so far and this thing is perfect. There isn't much more I could ask for for $1600.

I love those! When I go to a full suspension, that's probably what I'll get.

Nice bike. Ive always wondered about thoseforks, how do they work when they put so much force on one side of the axle/hub or something. Wouldnt it tilt the wheel a bit to its left?

same as a car wheel. they have a conical shaped axle with the big end on the fork side.

Ah I see.
A few weeks ago I saw a woman riding an all red bike that looked an awful lot like this, with the same suspension and fork design. I bet it was. Cool

Why Budweiser, why Budweiser?

Nice bike.

That's not the 600, the 600 has a manitou R7 on it.

Incorrect...

https://www.cannondale.com/bikes/06/CUSA/model-6VM6.html

you're thinking of the 400 (on the website it says the 400 comes with the RockShox Recon 327 Solo Air, but on my catalogue, it says it comes with teh r7)

Bikes: Guerciotti Pista-Giant Carbon-Bridgestone300- Batavus Type Champion Road Bike, Specialized Hardrock Commuter, On-One The Gimp (SS Rigid MTB/hit by a truck)- Raleigh Sports 3-speed,Gatsby Scorcher, comming soon...The Penny Farthing Highwheel!

The Lefty rides like butter. It seems to have more steering input that other big, squishy forks.

A Rush/Prophet/Scalpel is on my wish list as well. Don't forget me Santa!!!
