New Bike!!!
Finally, after a long wait, I got my 03' Stumpjumper. It is totally different from what I am used. I have to learn to bunny hop all over again because it is so light and the fork is so good compared to what I used to have. I used to have a 99' Mongoose Pro DX5 and the bike weighs about 30 pounds and the suspension is hardly suspension at all. They speced the fork different with a Rock Shox Duke but I like it well enough and the graphite color is really nice. Only problem is that we have 5 inches of snow so I won't get to ride it until atleast Sunday. I'm so happy, my first brand new bike.

you lucky SOB! I'm waiting for mine ... although it hasn't been that long yet, I'm still waiting. How long have you been waiting for yours and how much did you get it for?

I had to wait about a month because the Specialized distributor didn't get the 19'' hardtails until recently. I got it for $999 because I think they may have down specced the fork ( Rock Shox Duke XC instead of Manitou Skareb comp). I still haven't gotten a good ride in on it yet. I tried to go today but the trails were really icy from all the snow we had, then the melt and then the refreezing. I actually wish the trail was snow but all the ice made the wheels keep slipping out. Its a great bike though I'm sure you'll enjoy yours.

Whoooohoooo...nothing quite like a new ride. Like you, I can hardly wait for the trails to dry out. I was quite happy with the Duke I test rode for a few months BTW. Have fun.
