Diamondback XTS '06
Well... It looks like I'm in the market for a new mountain bike. The last bike I had was a Gary Fisher Opie, and frankly, I was not impressed with it very much... Cheap components.
Anyway, I've been looking around for a couple of weeks, and I came across this: Diamondback XTS 06' Freeride/DH (https://www.diamondback.com/items.asp...12&itemid=171). I've read a couple of reviews on it, and for the most part, it seems like a decent bike. At around $1,200 - $1,300, it should fit my budget.
Just wanted to know what you guys thought about it, and if possible, offer a better solution...
Thanks.

I have the xts 3 of a few years ago. It was a replacement frame for a previous model, so I cant say about components.
The frame is a nice simple four link design, but kinda heavy. Also, the bearings are garbage, don't know if theyve adressed that issue since.
