I am having a ti 29er mountain bike built and would appreciate input from those who have been there. Due to my freakish body dimensions, a custom frame is not nice, but completely necessary.

I have long praised Serotta for their help with my steel roadie frame and have to consider their Ti-Max due to this fact. I am a huge fan of their fit cycle system. I am also considering a Seven Sola and a Moots hardtail.

I know many will say they like IF, but quite frankly the dealer near me makes my stomach turn and I cannot work with them, nevermind spend $5000 in their shop. The reason I lean towards Serotta is for their fit system (I am not a fan of measuring limbs and inseams, as that has proven not to work for me) yet I realize I could always can fit on a Serotta fit cycle and send the measurements to Seven, Moots or countless other builders. I would love to hear experiences any of you have had with these three and what you might do differently. Thanks in advance.

Well, my first choice would definitely be IF. Now since that isn't an option my next pick would be, well any of the above. I've lusted over several Serrotas, Seven's and Moots. I think my choice would be made by the shop. Depending on seemed the most knowledgable about bike fitting is who I would go with. Most likely it would be the Serotta dealer though. Their fit system as well as their training is awesome. With them it is a pretty safe bet that you will get the bike that fits you perfect.
