New Sunline stem, and a slimmer seat. Trimmed the fork steer tube a touch. All dialed in nice and happy. Somewhere between 32-33#, with 2.6" tires, the rear being a full extra pound of DH tire. http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f1...s/IMG_6564.jpg Ditching the chainguide, swapping a regular seatpost on, going to a Lyrik Solo Air vs. the Totem Solo Air, smaller/lighter pedals, and lighter tires would easily have me in the high twenties for weight, but I'm not willing to sacrifice those particular parts just to lose some weight. http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f1...s/IMG_6563.jpg |

I can get you a Depends hook up. Let me know. Damn, Oleanshobox's B-52 looks like a whole lot of fun. |
It is. Took it out on Friday. The Kinetics leave a bit to be desired but other than that I am waaaay happy.

C'mon dood...the Pitch is the Shizzle! Loving it...midget Totem and all.
I don't get as excited over the "cookie cutter" bikes that people build. I've seen too many Nomads, hahaha. Maybe that's why I ride a red-headed step-child, teehee. |

A ninties Trek 800 Sport, a heavy, solid frame with upgraded Deore components. It's been an excellent commuter bike so far, but I don;t think it'll take the abuse of off-roading.

My first mountain bike. I never had one during the mountain craze in the 90's, and only came into this one by default (was going to pull my pedicab trailer, until it was logically deemed an improper use). So I built it up using spares lying around the shop I work at. I honestly don't know the first thing about mountain bike tech, so sometimes I feel at a loss, but I'm a quick learner. I bugged out of work early today and hit up some local trails, and holy **** I don't think I've ever had as much fun on a bike! I did about 6 miles of (what I think is) super rocky single track this afternoon before the sun set and I probably smiled the whole time.
The pictures: http://i43.tinypic.com/9vdvyx.jpg http://i40.tinypic.com/358e43d.jpg It's a 2002 or so KHS Team ST, with a mix of parts, admittedly mostly low end. But I didn't feel like dropping any real money on a bike I wasn't sure I would even like, and will undoubtedly smash the hell out of while I figure out what I'm doing. But I do have some good parts on the way: a SID XC Dual Air fork came in the shop today in a "donation box," and I snagged an XT front derailer off of criagslist today. |
^looks solid. Enjoy it (sounds like you already are)

Not sure of the year but its in really good condition minus a few rusty screws which are easy to work on. http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...4/DSC00502.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...4/DSC00499.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...4/DSC00495.jpg I set it up with some roadish tires as I use it mainly in the city Best bike I ever owned |

I just purchased a Motobecane 700HT on Friday. No pics yet, but will get some. I'm sure I'll get some comments about buying this brand, but it's cool. Bike shifts well, feels sturdy, fits, etc.
